Welcome to my Blog, just me, Lisa, trying to fill some winter time.

These are two crazy pictures of a what I called a Fog Bow. I wish I could have gotten the whole bow in one picture but it was too large. Alas there was no pot of gold at the end, at least as far as I know. Maybe there is a different prize at the end of a fog bow. Who knows...This picture was actually taken last summer, late summer, in the morning.

Now it is March 2, winter has flown by this year. Seems to me at least. Where in winters past, those who know me, know how I dread winter. But this year it has been just easy. Maybe it is the weather which has been mild for the most part. I can count on one hand the brutal cold days that we had here in January. February was beautiful, many days in the upper 30's low 40's. Sure, there has been plenty of wind but that is to be expected out here. You know it is beautiful out when you see lots of activity and people outside walking, talking and working outside. Everyone is just in a good mood, gathering, laughing and just hanging out, outside.

The sunsets have been some of the best I can remember also. (probably due to my good mood!) I will post them here. The one on the title page was taken just a couple of weeks ago. I swear that if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes, I wouldn't have believed it. I have some taken from the lobster boat I work on too that I will post. They were mostly taken in December and early January. I feel blessed to live in such a place that Mother Nature touches with her magic fingers.
