Here are sky pictures that I am lucky enough to see either from my porch or from my job as sternman on a lobster boat. I tried to do them in order but I must be tired because I did the same thing twice. These are all from the fall, October and November. The second and third pictures I just happened to look out the window and there it was. I run for the camera, (where did I put it...!) and snap away.
The third one down was when we were steaming in to sell the catch (lobsters) and the sky was fantastic. I know the camera did not catch it all. I loved the little puffy clouds up over Monhegan.
The last picture was when we were finishing up lobstering for the day and steaming in to the mooring. The sun was setting as shown on the left and it created this faboulous sundog on the right. I snapped a few pictures of this sundog. I think it was the best one I have seen at least in a long time. The first picture is a close up of the sundog.
Bear with me as I learn the learning curve of blogging, the pictures are messing with me!

I am inshore for the next two days and if I don't have time tomorrow, I will be back in earnest on Friday.
Goodnight, Lisa
